In addition to her photographic work, Campbell works as a photo editor, writer and commercial photographer. Louisiana Cultural Vistas, the magazine of the Louisiana Endowment of the Humanities, published photographic essays by Campbell in 2004 and 2006.  An image from the Duck Blind series was published in the January 2012 issue of Harper’s Magazine.  The British magazine The World of Interiors, published a profile article on the Duck Blind project in April 2014.  Since 2000, Campbell has written profile articles on photographers for BW, COLOR and Photographer’s Forum magazines and has written articles for Santa Barbara Seasons on people who make cascarones for Fiesta in Santa Barbara and an article on fisherman and Ridgeback shrimp for Edible Santa Barbara.

Campbell’s photographs have been exhibited at galleries in California, Louisiana and Maine.
