Ridley-Tree Museum Kicks Off for Fall

21 Aug 2015 9:23 AM | Anonymous

After a long dry summer, the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art is kicking off the 2015-2016 season with an ArtWatch show titled “tug.” The exhibit features the artwork of two renowned artists: the award-winning Dane Goodman of Santa Barbara, and the internationally recognized Keith Puccinelli, based in Ventura. Both men work in a wide range of media, from drawings and paintings to dynamic sculptures crafted out of everyday materials. Together, this pair of local artists have created a 3D installation for the Ridley-Tree Museum that tackles current events and today's cutting-edge issues.

You can join the opening reception on September 2 from 4:30-7pm, and while you’re be there be sure to go downstairs to check out the Wesley Anderegg ceramic sculpture that will be on display throughout fall 2015. “tug” is open through October 17, Monday through Saturday. Admission is always free to the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art.
